Central NY

Industry and tourism both prosper in Central New York. 

Central New York is bordered by Lake Ontario to the north. Its strategic location has enabled it to develop into a prime industrial region, an important distribution point and a financial center.

Central New York also has a strong tourism and leisure industry. Lake Ontario, the Finger Lakes and Oneida Lake provide opportunities for a variety of water sports. There are several ski areas in the region for winter sport. Art galleries, museums, wineries and zoos are just a few of the area’s many attractions.
